I’ve heard so many stories about after-wedding nightmares. You know, those stories about couples taking loans in order to fulfill the wedding of their dreams, but when the celebration is all over, the bride and groom have entered the reality of debt. Hey, through sickness and in health, and through rich or poor, right?
As you all know, I’m quite practical when it comes to the subject of, well… Anything. You know those bridesmaid dresses that supposedly costs $200-something that should only cost well $70 somewhere else? Yeah, you catch my drift here? Well, I put together a comparison of dresses from overpriced dresses to reasonable.
I still can’t wrap my head around this. I can’t believe how simple these dresses are, and they run from $150-$250. I’ve seen so many alternative dresses that look just like them, and are the same quality, and in some cases, better. While, I’m not condemning anyone who likes to buy dresses with these price tags, might I just ask… Why?
This is the alternative to #5. I just love how stunning this dress and it’s not just something you wear at a wedding, but also a night out with some cocktails.
This sweet grape colored dress is perfect for the evening out. It’s easy on the eyes, and it very subtle, but quite vivacious. This lovely dress is a $70 alternative to the second dress priced $209.
I saved these last two for last because they are my favorite. These two dresses are the alternative to #1 and #4 respectively. I’m in love with the hint of blue in both dresses, and you can dress them up for a girls night out. Of course, I much prefer paying $70 for each one instead of $150 or $250. Wouldn’t you?
You guessed it. This one is my favorite out of all my picks. This is the alternative to #3 which costs $250! I’m in love with one strap dresses because it brings compliment to the whole look.
